Hawthorn defender Trent Croad is expected to miss six weeks after sustaining a painful wrist injury against Melbourne at the MCG last Sunday. Scans have revealed that the 2005 All-Australian did not suffer a break or fracture, but the Hawks have indicated that the former Fremantle player had sustained ligament damage. Croad broke the same wrist in 2006.
