Controversial Footy Show panelist Sam Newman will return to the Channel Nine program tonight three weeks after undergoing successful prostate surgery.
Newman appeared on the show from his home via video link up when the program returned for another season early this month, but was not well enough to appear in the studio.
The former Geelong player was diagnosed with potentially life-threatening prostate cancer six weeks ago.
