A nine goal third quarter has given South Fremantle a thumping 78-point win over Claremont at Fremantle Oval on Saturday afternoon.

In a close opening half, the Bulldogs unleashed in the second, with an avalanche of goals in a comprehensive 25.11 (161) to 12.11 (83) demolition job over the hapless Tigers.

West Coast rookie Callum Wilson is inching ever closer to an AFL debut after sinking six goals straight for South Fremantle in a dominant performance up forward.

Kris Miller was best on ground for the Dogs, finishing with 30 possessions, 10 marks and 3 goals.

Peter Bell (33) and Kyle Hams (31) were also amongst South Fremantle’s best, as the Dogs kicked into gear, piling on 17 goals in the second half.

Jaymie Graham put in a solid performance, with 18 possessions and 21 hit-outs to go with his 3 goals.

Tigers’ forward Chad Jones couldn’t convert a set-shot, but managed to snap all of his 5 goals, including kicking 4 in the first half.

South Fremantle is now in second spot on percentage only, after the Royals caused a boilover, defeating Subiaco at Medibank Stadium.
