Waiting game for Tom Hurley

By Stephen O'LoughlinIt is a waiting game for AFL selection according to promising Sturt rover Tom Hurley after a stellar debut season playing 16 league games for the Doubles Blues.
However, despite his achievements in the SANFL this year and being an All-Australian state captain at the under-18 championships, Hurley was overlooked for the draft camp in Canberra in October. He was left to show his talents at the SA-based screening day instead.
His size (178 cm) and perceived lack of leg speed appear to be keeping some clubs away, but he is taller and heavier than Port Adelaide
