In-form West Perth received a further boost at the selection table this evening with classy forward Mark LeCras and gutsy midfielder Matt Guadagnin named in their squad for the clash with arch-rival East Perth on Monday.

The appearance of LeCras, who has recovered from a leg injury, is a stepping stone on his way back to West Coast’s line-up, while Guadagnin is back for his first match in over a year after a serious knee injury.

South Fremantle has been able to recall four key players for their Foundation Day Derby with East Fremantle at Fremantle Oval.

Ashton Hams has been selected for his first game of the year and Andrew Siegert returns from injury. Fremantle pair Ryan Murphy and Josh Head have also been named after being emergencies for the Dockers last week.

The Sharks will welcome back ball-magnet Jamie McNamara as one of seven inclusions into their 26-man squad, while ruckman Michael Griffiths will be missing.

Eagle Sam Butler is listed as an omission from Perth’s team to tackle Peel Thunder, however, as he hasn’t been named for West Coast, it is likely that he will take his place for the Demons on Saturday.

The Thunder has left out veteran Andrew Green for the crucial clash.

Claremont will be without Sandover Medallist Anthony Jones due to suspension when they host league leaders Subiaco in the Grand Final replay.
