ROUND 6 (ANZAC Day Weekend)
Friday April 25
SWAN DISTRICTS v PERTH Steel Blue Oval 2.15pm
The Demons will be disappointed at their efforts against Subi and will look to bounce back against the Swans. Perth will be looking to stay in touch with the top four after a promising start to the season. Swans will be looking to stay in touch with Subiaco and get the most out of their talented list.
Swans have a touch more class
Swan Districts by 12 points
Saturday April 26
SUBIACO v WEST PERTH Medibank Stadium 2.15pm
Chad Cossom plays his 150th for the Lions as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the season. Subi again showed their class with a ten goal drubbing of the Demons last week. West Perth were unlucky last week after a water boy gave away a free kick in the dying stages of its match with Swan Districts.
Subi will go six and zip
Subiaco by 32 points
CLAREMONT v SOUTH FREMANTLE Claremont Oval 2.15pm
Claremont come off a loss to Peel at Rushton Park. South Fremantle easily accounted for East Perth at Medibank Stadium. Match of the round and hard to pick a winner. Like Perth Claremont would like to pinch this one and stay in touch with the top four. South Fremantle’s hopes could rest on Ryan Murphy being called up by Fremantle.
Claremont at home
Claremont by 18 points
EAST FREMANTLE v EAST PERTH East Fremantle Oval 2.15pm
It’s the battle of the cellar dwellars East Fremantle had the bye last week while East Perth were disappointing against South Fremantle. The Royals should retain Chris Tarrant who is likely to spend another week in the WAFL. East Fremantle should be doing better under first year coach Shane Woewodin.
East Fremantle will post their first win of the season
East Fremantle by 26 points
