West Perth's season is at the cross roads as they host East Fremantle at Joondalup on Saturday.

This clash at Joondalup could be a defining moment in the season for West Perth.

The reigning Premiers are currently sitting two games outside the top four and a loss at home on Saturday would all but put them in mothballs for 2004.

Last week against Perth, the Falcons kicked themselves out of the game in the early going before being over run in the last quarter.

Realistically, East Fremantle with just one win on the board, have little chance of playing finals football.

Last week against the Royals, the Sharks showed how reliant they are on forward Scott Simister.

Simister was well held last week, leaving the Sharks with few options up forward. If the Falcons can quell Simister
