West Coast may be ready to unveil their No.1 draft pick Nic Naitanui against Richmond at Docklands on Saturday night.

Eagles coach John Worsfold would not weigh into Naitanui’s selection on Saturday, but gave the teenager a good wrap for his solid form in the WAFL.

Worsfold also declared the 19-year-old of Fijian descent was ready to play at the elite level, but did not specify when he would make his AFL debut for the club.

The 196cm Fijian has played just four games for Swan Districts in the WAFL, but is already averaging 24 hit-outs per game.

Naitanui also played a starring role in his side’s win over premiership contenders South Fremantle last weekend.
