Former West Coast Eagles champion midfielder Peter Matera may soon be making a comeback to the football field.
Matera has a property approximately five kilometres out of Bridgetown and has been training with the local football club in preparation for the Ted Whitten match.
It is believed Matera may play for the Bridgetown Football Club at some point during the 2004 season.
However it is unclear whether Matera will play with Bridgetown before the Ted Whitten match.
Bridgetown play in the Lower South West League.
It is known that the former dashing wingman will soon spend time in Moora on a farm assisting with a crop before returning to Bridgetown.
