The Eagles have added young stars, Shannon Hurn and Josh Kennedy to their leadership group for the 2010 season.
Hurn had his best season for the Eagles to date and finished second in the club’s best and fairest behind captain Darren Glass, while Kennedy, who played in only his 2nd season for the club after the trade that saw Chris Judd move to Carlton also showed much improvement.
The club’s match committee and players all agreed that Hurn and kennedy were suitable replacements for the retiring Tyson Stenglein in the leadership group.
Glass has retained the captaincy, with Beau Waters, Dean Cox, Matt Priddis and Adam Selwood rounding out the leadership group.
