West Coast makes another dreaded flight across the country to the MCG to face the in form Melbourne this weekend. The Demons have performed well beyond expectations wining their last 5 matches. On the flip side West Coast have had a string of close losses and are struggling to consistently find the right combination of players to make them a threatening force in the AFL.

After a rather notorious week West Coast have made massive changes to the side that lost to Fremantle last weekend. Missing this week will be Chad Morrison who has suffered a knee strain and Rowan Jones with a groin injury and of course Quinten Lynch.

Worsfold is opting to give his young players performing in the WAFL a chance to play league football as opposed to older more experienced campaigners such as Michael Collica. Subsequently two rookies in Sam Butler and Brett Jones have been named. McDougall, Staker, Selwood, and Humm have been added to the squad which will be shortened after training today.

Melbourne will stick with it
