Who Will The AFL Take From Your Club?

The WAFC today released an updated list of the names of players from the WAFL clubs who will be attending the AFL Draft Camp and the WA State Screening session. An invite to the AFL draft camp is the result of a player being nominated by at least 4 AFL clubs. An invite to the WA State Screening is the result of a player being nominated by 1 to 3 AFL clubs. The draft camp is a 4 day process including physical and psychomotor skills (to test reflexes), as well as possible interviews from the AFL talent scouts that attend. The state screening consists of a single 3 hour session testing the physical abilities of our players.
At present there are 44 WAFL players invited, combining the attendees of both the draft camp and the state screening. While the AFL clubs are unlikely to draft all the players at the draft camp, the question still remains: Who will the AFL draft, who will the other state leagues draft form the state screening, and who will remain? The AFL Draft Camp will take place on October 3rd, while the WA State Screening will take place on October 12th.
