Variety Challenge fixtures

THIS weekend’s WAFL Variety Challenge fixtures will see later start times for some games due to a high forecast temperature of 36 degrees on Saturday

Games between Perth and South Fremantle at EFTel Oval (4pm) and Peel and Subiaco at Bendigo Bank Stadium (5pm) will both start later in the afternoon.

However, East Fremantle will to stick with the 2.15pm start time for their clash with West Perth at East Fremantle Oval.

Andrew Foster, Ryan Brabazon and Andrew Browne all fared well in the Tigers intra-club game last weekend and are expected to line up against the Swans on Saturday.

Former Fremantle players Foster and Browne and ex-Sydney squad member Brabazon will bolster the Tigers midfield in 2010.

Tigers forward Ian Richardson was another strong contributor in the intra-club game, while ruckman Tom Derickx showed enough to indicate he could press for league selection.
