Mass changes to Variety Challenge games
Posted Mar 2, 2010 - 20:42 PM
BOTH venues and playing times have been changed ahead of the third round of the WAFL’s pre-season Variety Challenge this Saturday.
The NAB practice match between West Coast and Carlton will be played at Medibank Stadium at 10.30am.
As a result, the Subiaco and East Fremantle colts, reserves and league game times have been shifted. The colts game will now start at 5.30pm, while reserves will commence at 1.30pm and bounce-down for the league match at 3.00pm.
Swan Districts and East Perth will play at EFTel Oval due to the unavailability of Steel Blue Oval due to a scheduling clash with a concert at the weekend.
The Swans and Royals reserves will also play at EFTel Oval, but the colts will instead play at Lightning Park in Noranda at 8.00am.
The Peel Thunder and West Perth game has also been shifted from Anniversary Park in Rockingham to Arena Joondalup.
As planned, Claremont will host Perth at Claremont Oval.
