Despite their finals hopes suffering a huge blow after a thrashing from Melbourne to the tune of 73 points the Swans name an unchanged line up against their forthcoming match against Geelong at the Olympic stadium.
The Cats on the other hand have ruled out midfielder Jimmy Bartel with an ankle injury and forward James Podsiadly with general soreness.
There is speculation the mature-age Podsiadly would be rested before the finals series.
FootyGoss understands Tom Hawkins is poised to make his comeback from a foot injury.
It’s surprising no heads have rolled at the Swans camp after the Demons last week kicked 22.10 (142) to 10.9 (69) to make the most of an astounding 8 goal to 2 first term.
The massive loss could be coach Paul Roos’ last on the MCG and according to the Swans was the heaviest defeat by a Roos-coached team, beating the previous record margin by one point.
The Swans, after the loss, have plummeted to eighth position on the ladder.
