New Magpie recruit Darren Jolly admits he is feeling the pressure after moving from the Sydney Swans at the end of the 2009 season.

The 28-year-old decided to return to Victoria for family reasons during last month’s trade week, as he joined a bunch of other stars to switch clubs.

Collingwood placed high value on Jolly, giving up picks 14 and 56 at next week’s NAB AFL Draft, as the ruck was viewed as a weakness of the Magpies. The 166-game veteran is coming off career best form but said that he still feels the pressure, realizing that Collingwood have put a huge amount of faith in him, by offering him a four-year deal.

He added that he was always looking to improve himself as a player.
