Swans forward Barry Hall may opt out of the Sydney leadership group after last weeks punch incident invoilving Eagles utility Brent Staker.
Hall has told Swans Coach Paul Roos that he may leave the group due to his actions and then subsequent suspension.
Roos told a media scrum in Sydney this afternoon that Hall would be taking some time away from the club “He felt as an individual he put his position in the leadership group in jeopardy.
“I said [to him] ‘think about it’. And like any player who’s injured, he’s asked to go away. He’ll be away for a week. So we won’t be even talking to Barry Hall or seeing him for a week. That was his comment, he felt that he’d put his place in the group in jeopardy.”
