Dual Brownlow medalist Adam Goodes has put in an early guilty plea meaning he will miss Sydney’s match against Collingwood and end his amazing 204 consecutive games streak.
Goode’s risked two weeks on the sidelines if he challenged and lost and so took the lesser penalty.
Port Adelaide’s Matt Thomas also accepted his one match ban but Adelaide’s Nathan Basset will challenge his charge of striking Brisbane’s Jed Adcock at the tribunal tonight.
Robert Warnock is also free to play against Essendon after he accepted his reprimand.
