Adam Goodes will be free to play this weekend but he will be ineligible to win the Brownlow after he accepted a reprimand for his head high hit on Adam Selwood.
Goodes, already a two time winner, joins other Brownlow fancy Sam Mitchell as stars out of contention.
Adam Selwood has chosen to challenge his reprimand meaning he could risk 93.75 demerit points against his name if he fails.
Meanwhile Fremantle’s Heath Black has chosen to accept his two match ban for striking Troy Selwood.
Bulldog Ben Hudson accepted a reprimand and 93.75 points for striking Saint Leigh Montagna, while Michael Firrito, Paul Chapman, Troy Selwood and Black all copped $900 fines for wrestling.
