Sydney Swans key players Leo Barry and Jared Crouch are making steady progress towards coming back into the side, coach Paul Roos said on Tuesday.
Barry had knee surgery in January and was placed on the club’s long term injury list, but has resumed training with the main group on Tuesday afternoon, while Crouch played his first game for the Swans reserves on Sunday after being struck down with a hamstring against the Lions in round two.
Roos mentioned that Crouch would have to prove himself ready to the medical staff via an intense match-like training session before he comes back into the side and would probably play at-least one more game with the reserves to make certain of his fitness.
