Sydney’s Barry Hall has been offered a two week ban for striking Adelaide defender Ben Rutten in Sydney’s loss on Saturday night.

The match review panel deemed Hall’s punch as low impact and to the chin giving him two weeks on the sidelines if he pleads guilty. The hit was during a three quarter time scuffle between the pair.

Hall managed to kick four goals for his Swans during the match but they were still unable to keep up with the Crows who ran out winners 12.13 (85) to 10.9 (69) at AAMI Stadium.

If Hall accepts the two week penalty he will miss the matches against North Melbourne and Essendon.
