Ruckman Llane Spaanderman is the latest player to make Steel Blue Oval his home in 2008 after the 21-year-old agreed to sign with Swan Districts late last week.
Swans, who finished seventh with eight wins and 12 losses in 2007 have also nabbed high profile Richmond discard Andrew Krakouer and former junior player Matthew Spencer, who spent time on Geelong’s list in recent years.
Spaanderman played 16 matches for the Royals last year and kicked nine goals.
He spent time on Brisbane’s list before being rookie-listed by West Coast last season.
Spaanderman was delisted by the Eagles late last year.
