Robinson leading the charge

Swan District’s on-baller Brett Robinson has hit the lead in The West’s WAFL Player of the Year award.
The classy midfielder grabbed the lead after a best on ground performance in his side’s win over Peel at Rushton Park last Saturday.
The 23-year-old Victorian heads the pack with 17 votes after 10 rounds.
Outgoing Bulldogs skipper midfielder Peter Bell is close behind on 16 votes, while Demons duo Ross Young (15) and Steven Armstrong (14) are also in the hunt.
South Fremantle’s Toby McGrath and Jaymie Graham are both on 13 votes, as is East Perth’s Craig Glancy.
