Subiaco premiership player Allistair Pickett may set yet another record in his illustrious career by one day playing alongside his own son.
The dual Sandover medallist is nearly 36-years-old, and already holds the title of being the oldest player in the WAFL.
However, the debut of 16-year-old Alliston Pickett in the colts last Saturday has made the pair the only father and son to play for the Lions at the same time in the club’s history.
Alliston Pickett kicked two goals in his debut game for Subiaco, but hasn’t inherited the same football characteristics, according to his father.
“He’s right-footed, I’m left-footed, he’s got a good vertical leap, I haven’t,†said Pickett.
