Subiaco is hoping 200cm ruck recruit Michael Rix will deliver the goods come finals time as the Lions gather more momentum their quest for a premiership quartet.
The Former St Kilda ruckman showed his potential against East Fremantle last Saturday, with a game-high 40 hit-outs.
He said his move to WA had come from a discussion with team-mate Marc Webb during his time at Port Melbourne in the VFL.
“I gave it all I could at AFL level but I thought I still had a bit left in me, so that’s why I wanted to come over to the west and still play at the best level and in terms of the strength of this competition, I’ve just been blown away,†Rix said.
