HAVING recently left East Fremantle, former chief executive Peter Capes is now understood to be in the running to take over from outgoing Subiaco CEO Jeff Lind.
The timing is just right for Capes, who ended a five year term at the Sharks in April after the job had become untenable due to a “dramatic change in responsibilities.â€
The Lions are believed to be interviewing candidates this week after Lind decided he wanted to play a smaller role at the club.
They hope to identify a suitable candidate by next week and have a new chief in place by next month.
