Sorry for leading you up the Jungle Path I now believe Subiaco will soon announce 2004 Simpson Medallist Paul Vines as the Reserves Coach for 2009. Paul has been an assistant coach since his retirement and will bring a wealth of knowledge to his position. If it is confirmed Paul I look forward to meeting you when I return from the jungles of Africa. Gloria the Hippo just loves Mr Vines and I reckon she she might just chuck in her Bulldogs membership and join the mighty Lions- just to follow the Reserves. As I stated in my first article I think Subiaco have an abundance of young talent just waiting to grab a chance to play in the Seniors. Here’s hoping for Subiaco’s 17th Reserves Flag in 2009. Even with Gloria the Hippo on board it should be a great season. The boat leaves Madagascar soon arriving in Perth for the first game on March 20th at Medibank Stadium. Well must catch a Zebra or even a nice juicy Demon for lunch- this has been Alex the Lion roaring from Madagascar.
