Stephen Milne and Leigh Montagna have escaped rape charges after police confirmed today that there was insufficient evidence to launch a prosecution against the Saints pair.
As reported in the Advertiser, in a statement today police officials said they've reached their conclusion after receiving advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The thorough investigation took place by the Victorian Police after allegations were made in regards to the alleged events that took place after the club's annual family day.
