St Kilda youngster Jarryn Geary has won the round eight AFL Rising Star nomination for his impressive effort against the Bombers on Sunday, gathering 19 disposals.
The defender has averaged 18 possessions this season and hasn’t missed a game yet.
It was only a matter of weeks before the twenty-year-old won the award after he gathered 26 possessions to go with an impressive nine marks against the Magpies in the previous round.
This is Geary’s second year in the AFL, after he played ten games for the Saints in 2008.
