St Kilda remain unbeaten at the top of the ladder after a thrilling come from behind win against the never say die Brisbane outfit yesterday at the Telstra Dome.

The Saints were down by three points at the last change, and when Sherman kicked his second goal of the last quarter the Lions led by nine points. The Saints then lifted their intensity and kicked several crucial goals in a row to run out winners by 16 points.

Lenny Hayes worked hard in his 200th AFL match to finish with 31 disposals and Justin Koschitzke and Nick Riewoldt were both dominant up forward with four goals each.

St Kilda remains on top of the ladder with Geelong, who are the only other unbeaten team after nine rounds of the AFL season. They will play each other in round 14.
