St Kilda’s Matt Maguire has a strong chance of making a comeback to the field after missing most of last season through serious injury.

Maguire who last played for the Saints in round seven last year due to surgery on a fractured foot, has trained well in the pre-season and will most probably take the field in tomorrow’s intra-club match at Moorabbin.

The hard-nosed defender is finally closing in on his 100th AFL game, with fellow defender Sam Fisher saying that Maguire had been back in full training for a while and will hopefully be set to go for the club’s first NAB CUp game against the Brisbane Lions On Saturday the 14th of February.
