St Kilda big man Justin Koschitzke is free to play against Hawthorn in this weekend’s preliminary final after his report for a rough tackle on Collingwood’s Shane Wakelin was dismissed.
Koschitzke was cleared to play after the match review panel presumed he had not known the ball had spilled free when he laid the heavy tackle.
It was the panel’s view that Koschitzke’s action was not unreasonable as his tackle was one motion while holding Wakelin at all times.
There were no other suspensions to come out of the weekend.
