The Saints are hoping that Justin Koschitzke will only miss Friday night’s game against Port Adelaide, with a hamstring injury he sustained in last weekend’s easy win over the Dockers.

Coach Ross Lyon said that the scan Koschitzke had on Monday afternoon revealed that it wasn’t a serious tear, and the club was hoping that at worst he’d be back playing in two weeks.

Lyon said it would be a challenge playing without Koschitzke and choosing who to replace him with, but there was a rich picking of players who were in good form with the VFL team.

The Saints have so far had a relatively injury free start to the season, resulting in them winning all four of their games so far, prooving the importance and advantage a side has when all their players are fit to go.
