Key Saints eyeing return

St Kilda defender Max Hudghton will make his return to football for Sandringham in the VFL this weekend.

Saints coach Ross Lyon said Hudghton was set to return from a calf injury that has sidelined him for seven weeks.

Meanwhile defender Matt Maguire may return to the Saints squad, this time as a forward.

Maguire has spent all year in the VFL and booted five goals for the Zebras last week.

He has played as a defender for most of his 99-game career, but Lyon said he may use him as a goal-kicker when he plays his 100th game.
