St Kilda will be counting their losses tonight after Justin Koschitzke reported on video evidence for tripping the Lion's Mal Michael was suspended for one week at the AFL Tribunal tonight.

Even though the umpire who paid the free kick to Michael stated that he did not see a swinging action, the video evidence clearly showed that Koschitzke swung his leg which resulted in him tripping up Michael.

Koschitzke will miss the blockbuster game against the Fremantle Dockers next week at Subiaco Oval.

The suspension comes after the Tribunal enforced a two week ban on Saints captain Lenny Hayes for striking Brisbane's Tim Notting as well as the AFL handing down a $50 000 fine to the St Kilda Football Club.

Bulldog Brad Johnson is still to face the tribunal for striking Brady Rawlings of the Kangaroos.
