Stephen Milne and Leigh Montagna have escaped rape charges after police confirmed today that there was insufficient evidence to launch a prosecution against the Saints pair.

St Kilda is taking its entire playing list, including rookies, to Perth this weekend as a bonding exercise coinciding with the match-of-the-round against Fremantle, the Age reports.
The exercise, an initiative of coach Grant Thomas, will cost the club an extra $15,000. It was made possible by the Saints' VFL affiliate, Springvale, having a bye this weekend.

After receiving a $50 000 fine from the AFL for breaches in the players' code, St Kilda have been dealt another blow with captain Lenny Hayes being suspended for 2 weeks.
Hayes was reported on video evidence and found guilty for striking Tim Notting of the Brisbane Lions.

After hitting the Brisbane Lions with a $260 000 for breaches of the AFL player rules, the St Kilda Football Club has been fined $50 000 for the same reason.
