WAFL Selection Wrap - Bulldogs ring the changes

South Fremantle has been forced to make a number of changes to the side that defeated Claremont last week due to injury, suspension and AFL selection for their clash with Perth at Eftel Oval on Saturday.
Missing from last week’s line-up with be injured skipper Toby McGrath and the suspended Lukas Teague, while Jamie Graham and Paul Duffield have been recalled by West Coast and Fremantle respectively.
Into the Bulldogs’ initial 25-man squad come Jarred Winter, Jordan Smith and Leigh Kelly as well as potential first gamers, Kallen Bond, Zac Austin, Gavin Campbell and Timothy Dutt.
AFL selection has also influenced Perth’s team for this week, although the Demons will still hold out hope that Mark Johnson and Scott Selwood will miss the final cut for the Dockers and Eagles respectively. Johnson has been named on an extended seven-man bench while Selwood is an emergency for tomorrow night’s match.
Utility, Josh Krueger will return for the Demons and defender, Josh Bond has earned a recall on an extended interchange bench, while Leighton McDonald, Drew Robinson and Mat Coker will debut if they make the final line-up.
Swan Districts regain Clayton Hinkley for their tussle with East Perth at Medibank Stadium after he was dropped by Fremantle. Former Magpie, Guy Richards has been selected in a Forward Pocket and Daniel O’Reilly will debut on a wing.
Veteran Shane Beros will miss, as will goal sneak, Chris Yarran. Ash Hansey is listed among the outs, however he was not selected by West Coast and is expected to line up for Swans.
Brent LeCras heads a long list of inclusions for West Perth as they host East Fremantle at Arena Joondalup.
Former Demon, Richard Kelly has been named on the ball for the Falcons and Caleb Shadbolt will play his first WAFL game if he survives the final cut.
Ruckmen, Mark Seaby and Rob Warnock are listed as omissions at this stage but may still play if not required by their AFL clubs.
Meanwhile, East Fremantle has brought in Rob Young for his first game of 2008 as well as Eagle Matt Spangher as part of seven inclusions.
Jamie McNamara will be missing for the Sharks after being selected for the Eagles while Andrew Foster has been named in the Dockers’ squad.
Young West Coast rookie Ashley Arrowsmith will represent Peel against Subiaco in Kalgoorlie after the Eagles requested that he leave East Fremantle due to lack of opportunity in the league team.
Experienced pair Daniel Haines and Grant Welsh will strengthen the Thunder team for their battle with the league leaders, however, Will Schofield, Brad Ebert and Brock O’Brien have been named in AFL squads and may miss the clash.
