South Fremantle Football Club is howling at the top of the WAFL ladder after an 80-point demolishing of West Perth at Fremantle Oval on Saturday.

The top four teams are deadlocked at 28 points after playing 11 games this season, however after a few convincing wins the Bulldogs retain top spot by percentages and after ladder leaders Swan Districts and West Perth were defeated at the weekend.

It was a goal frenzy for South Fremantle, with Callum Wilson (5), Jeff Farmer (4), Ryan Murphy (4) and Nathan Phillips (4) all scoring a series of majors to contribute to the massive victory.

Daniel Gilmore played a solid game, collecting 34 possessions, coming off his 26-possession game last week.

Subiaco move to second position after their 21-point win against Swan Districts, which was the highly-anticipated grand final re-match at Medibank Stadium.

Marc Webb was exciting to watch, snapping up 32 possessions and a bevy of marks.

Subiaco’s Shaun Hilderbrandt was best on ground after kicking four goals and getting 31 disposals.
