Former Fremantle goal sneak Jeff Farmer has agreed verbally to extend his playing career with WAFL club South Fremantle. There was speculation that Farmer might be lured south to join Peel, but it seems such a move will not take place, the Thunder having signed up another former Docker in Heath Black. Although yet to put pen to paper, it seems the Bulldogs fans can look forward to Farmer lighting up South Fremantle Oval once again in 2009.
