Week off for tribunal
Posted Jun 16, 2009 - 11:26 AM
The AFL tribunal won’t be needed tonight after Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt accepted his reprimand for striking Eagle Daniel kerr in the Tigers’ win on Saturday night.
Riewoldt, who has kicked 13 goals this season was charged with a level two striking offence, meaning intentional conduct but low impact and body contact. The 93.75 points gathered from the offense means if he was to reoffend he would risk suspension.
The 20-year-old has played ten games this season.
