Richmond and Hawthorn may use a different exit point at tonight's game at Telstra Dome.

If both clubs decide to change exit points there is little chance any angry fans can spit, pour or throw things at the players and officials.

As reported in The Age, both clubs could use the central exit point on the wing rather than the usual exits at half-forward flank.

Both Richmond and Hawthorn have not confirmed any change to their exiting plans.

"If we were doing something different, we wouldn't be saying," said Richmond's football manager, Greg Hutchison.
