Richmond has been dealt a blow with midfielder Nathan Foley set to miss the remainder of the season with an ankle injury.
The Tigers will place Foley on the long term injury list which will allow them to elevate a rookie to the senior list. The club’s website reported that Foley will be ready to wear the footy boots again after he has surgery in the near future, in time for the pre-season.
Football manager Ross Monaghan said that Foley had been restricted by his ankle injury since the start of the season which has made it tough for him to recover after each game and be ready for the next.
