The Fevola Effect appears to have infiltrated the Richmond Football Club.
Draftee Troy Taylor has faced both the Supreme Court and the Magistrates Court in Alice Springs today on multiple charges, including assaulting three men, engaging in violent conduct and damaging property during a New Year’s Eve street party in Alice Springs.
The 18-year-old has had his bail extended until August 9, so he can return to Melbourne to meet his football club commitments.
The prosecutor has asked the Supreme Court to find the incidents amount to a breach of a suspended sentence, which was imposed on Taylor in mid-2008.
But Taylor’s lawyer told the Magistrates Court today that his client will be contesting all charges.
The matter is adjourned until August 16 to allow for the outcome of a hearing on the NYE matter.
