Tigers star forward Matthew Richardson has defended his team’s medicos decision to continue playing him, despite tearing a hamstring tendon during the game against Sydney last weekend.
Richardson told Footy Show reporter Craig Hutchison that he placed absolute faith in the medicos to do the right thing by him.
He also scoffed at the idea that people think they’re running amateur medico hour down at the club, and insisted it was further from the truth.
The injured Tiger also remained optimistic about making his return by round 18, and assured fans he had no immediate plans for retirement at the end of this season.
