Incoming Richmond coach Damien Hardwick says the club will decide in the next few weeks on the futures of Matthew Richardson and Ben Cousins.
Hardwick was appointed senior coach of the Tigers on Tuesday night, and the following day said he was starting at the Tigers immediately.
Hardwick said many decisions needed to me made in the next few weeks, with many players’ futures on the line.
The 37-year-old showed glowing praise for Matthew Richardson and Ben Cousins but could not guarantee their future at the club.
“Will I shy away from them? No I think it was John Kennedy who said there was no sentiment in football,†he said.
