Ben Cousins has been fined $10,000 for pulling the middle finger at a channel ten camera inside the Tigers’ change-room before the game against the Dockers last Saturday night.

The former Eagle was fined $5000 by the Tigers and then another $5000 by the AFL.

Cousins said that he had accepted the fine and had apologized for raising his finger. He added that it was a gesture that he didn’t think would go to air.

Craig Cameron, Richmond’s general manager of football said the club had key behaviors and standards that the players were supposed to obey. He added that Cousins had breached their standards and therefore was important that he was fined.
