Brisbane may yet rue its decision to not draft Brownlow Medallist and Richmond recruit Ben Cousins, when they go head-to-head at the MCG on Saturday.
The former West Coast captain was left stranded by the Lions’ last-minute decision not to draft him last year, and was lucky to receive a lifeline from the Tigers.
However the Lions’ decision has been spot-on so far, with Cousins suffering a hamstring injury in his first game for the Tigers.
But Cousins has showed plenty in his comeback against Carlton, collecting 12 disposals and 3 marks in an injury plagued match.
