Although it may only be 13th versus 15th, the West Coast/Richmond clash at Docklands promises to be an exciting night of first-time appearances.
The game will see promising caretaker coach Jade Rawlings in action for the first time, since Terry Wallace’s departure.
Star recruit Ben Cousins will be up against it as he faces his former team-mates for the first time since 2007.
But more importantly talented recruits Nic Naitanui (West Coast) and Ty Vickery (Richmond) will debut for their respective clubs on Saturday night.
Richmond may have history on their side, as a replacement coach generally produces a first-time win for their club.
