Port Adelaide veteran midfielder Peter Burgoyne’s future with the club is uncertain after another below-par performance in the loss against the Magpies on Friday night.
Burygone was dropped to the SANFL a month ago after turning up to training in an unhealthy state and has struggled for form since suffering from a hamstring injury earlier this year.
Port Adelaide’s coach Mark Williams says the premiership star’s long-term future was blurry as he uncharacteristically fumbled the ball on regular occasions on Friday night.
Williams said that Burygone will play the remaining two games for the season despite his bad form.
