Ahead of their match against the Bulldogs in Darwin, Port Adelaide has gone to extraordinary lengths to acclimatise to the conditions.

The team have spent the last month preparing with half-hour bike sessions inside a humidity chamber at the University of South Australia.

Former Bulldogs, turned Port Adelaide fitness coach Cameron Falloon, insisted on the training, as he prepared his previous club with exactly the same regime for the Darwin trek.

Falloon’s aim is to provide the team with a stifling fitness regime, so they can adjust to the conditions faster than the Bulldogs on game day.
